The “Robotics” lab is based on the NI sbRIO platform. The software is developed in the LabVIEW graphical programming environment. The Robotics lab is designed as a training platform for practical and theoretical classes in robotics. It allows the students to
- Familiarize with the most common sensors used in robotics
- Control the manipulator with 4 degrees-of-freedom
- Control the mobile robot with 4 independent motors
The delivery package also includes open source demo code, which allows the students to use it for the development of their own control algorithms and measurements using the equipped sensors of the platform.
